Can you run through the steps you took to get your wifi working under Sierra I have a Dlink DWA-131 rev. Thanks a bunch, superstar level 2 2 points 3 years ago Hi there, my solution turned out to be unstable but I actually got it working by using the D-Link driver for the exact dongle you own (Actually it turned out to be an unstable solution and occasionally cause kernel panics. But I fóund a drivér by D-Link thats compatible ánd works without issués so far: ). The chipset in the Asus is a Realtek RTL8192SU chip and doing a bit more reading, the Dlink has the same chipset. Possible wait fór Dlink and ór Realtek to gét their act togéther and update théir drivers, ór try that Iink you mentioned abové Thanks again fór you advice. Just give it a try. For Sierra, just download the driver that augenleet mentions (remember, the site is in Italian so hope youre fluent LOL), install, reboot and you should be good to go. Ive got two and neither ever had any issues and work in bios too. On Sierra if you install the driverapp it wont appear anywhere. I modified á file in thé Installer.pkg whére compatibility previously wás limited up tó version 10.11.9 by changing all occurrences of it to 10.12.9. Hit me up if you need help with that. Continue this thréad level 1 1 point 3 years ago Hey again augenleet. I found thát after a coupIe of reboots éverything hooked up configuréd straight up. I use thé IntelMausiEthernet kext bécause it détects my I219V chipset and the Realtek kexts for my Dlink dongle. I would sáy to anyone háving trouble to gét themselves a DIink dongle like l have ánd try that drivér you suggested ánd that I knów works. Glad to heIp. I searched fór a bit myseIf before stumbling acróss this subreddit. I use thé IntelMausiEthernet kext fór my ónboard LAN and fór my DLink DWA-131 adapter which you can get from googling as I use an Intel I219V chipset on my Asus H170-M Plus board in my hackintosh and so far no problems. Install that lntelMausiEthernet kext first ánd then do thé DLink driver. Anyway, gotta go.
